94-year-old Huntington Beach woman killed in crash with car driven by 86-year-old woman

A 94-year-old Huntington Beach woman died Friday after her car and a vehicle driven by an 86-year-old woman collided in Huntington Beach.

The crash occurred about 2 p.m. near the intersection of Warner Avenue and Ash Lane when the 94-year-old woman’s 1997 Saturn crashed with the 86-year-old woman’s 2004 Mercedes-Benz, according to Sgt. Joshua Page of the Huntington Beach Police Department.

Both women were taken to a hospital, where the 94-year-old was pronounced dead. Her name was not immediately available.

The other woman, who is from Santa Ana, was seriously injured, Page said.
