Police seek witnesses after Huntington Beach man dies in Costa Mesa car crash

Police are seeking witnesses to a crash early Saturday in Costa Mesa in which a Huntington Beach man died, authorities said.

Costa Mesa police said a 2015 Honda Accord crashed into a traffic signal pole at 12:06 a.m. near Victoria Street and Pacific Avenue.

The driver — Patrick John Harris, 26 — was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are investigating the cause of the crash and asked that anyone with information about the case call traffic investigator Darren Wood at (714) 754-5264.
