Heroes Hall celebrates 2nd anniversary and unveils new exhibit

Saturday was a day of celebration, storytelling and reflection as officials and residents gathered to mark the second anniversary of the Heroes Hall veterans museum at the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa.

A two-hour event including music and refreshments also served as the official unveiling of the museum’s latest exhibit, “Victory From Within: The American Prisoner of War Experience.”

The traveling exhibit, created by the National Park Service, explores the themes of “capture, prison life, those who wait and freedom,” according to the fairgrounds.
