Man arrested, marijuana plants seized

A Laguna Beach man was arrested and 11 marijuana plants seized in a police raid at a studio apartment on the 600 block of Glenneyre Street Nov. 30, according to Laguna Beach Police Sgt. Darin Lenyi.

Brian Lewis, 30, was arrested on suspicion of marijuana cultivation, possession of marijuana for sale and possession of concentrated cannabis. He was booked at the city jail, taken to Orange County jail, and was released on $25,000 bail.

Police had received a tip that marijuana was being grown at the location, Lenyi said.

The plants ranged in size from about six inches to almost two feet in height. In addition, more than four ounces of marijuana, suspected concentrated cannabis and drug paraphernalia were seized.
