McCain camp to open headquarters in Newport

In a further effort to court voters in Orange County, John McCain’s campaign is having a grand opening of its Newport Beach Volunteer Victory Headquarters at 5 p.m. Sunday.

Admission and parking are free. Refreshments will be served and those who wish to attend are encouraged to make reservations at contact@ocgop.org.

While presumptive Democratic nominee Barack Obama will visit Newport to fundraise Sunday, McCain himself will not attend the grand opening of the Republican headquarters.
