Anderson law firm now in city

Anderson Law Group Inc. recently opened in Laguna Beach. Nicole Anderson, principal of the firm, practices estate planning and business law. She moved her office close to her Laguna Beach home and is delighted to spend more time in the local Laguna Beach community.

Anderson received her Bachelor of Arts in international political economy from the Colorado College and attended the London School of Economics in pursuit of her degree. She is currently pursuing her masters in law in taxation from Chapman University School of Law. She received her J.D. from Wayne State University Law School in Michigan.

Before founding Anderson Law Group, she served as a judicial clerk for a federal judge and was a law clerk for the assistant United States attorney in Detroit. She worked for the law offices of Cline, Cline and Griffin in Michigan, then Anderson & Le in Orange County.

She is a member of the Trusts & Estates section of the State Bar of California, as well as a member of the Trusts and Estates and Business Law sections of the Orange County Bar Assn. She volunteers with the Junior League of Orange County and serves on the committee for the Orange County Bar Foundation for Higher Education’s Mentoring Project.

Anderson Law Group’s current projects for clients include:

?working with multiple Orange County entrepreneurs on business transactional documents;

?designing custom estate plans for individuals and families with few to more than $10 million in assets;

?establishing Irrevocable Life Insurance trusts for families to remove their life insurance proceeds from their taxable estates;

?working with families to integrate charitable planning into their estate plan;

?designing property agreements and estate planning strategies for families with vacation homes; and

?assisting local physicians with their suite of business planning documents.

LRM Interior Design in growth mode

The first quarter of 2009 has been positive for LRM Interior Design. The studio has hired two new employees to keep the office running smoothly and efficiently.

Stacy Shawyer, hired in November as the office’s administrative assistant, has a background in customer service, billing and administrative management.

Kristen Rusert joined as executive administrator, bringing three years of experience in the industry to help manage projects, expedite orders and coordinate with vendors and clients. With qualifications from Newport Beach’s Interior Design Institute, Rusert sought the firm out.

In January, owner and principal Lisa Rachelle McDennon also hired Either/Or Media, a public relations firm, to expand current marketing efforts and help build the company’s online presence. Either/Or Media has more than 10 years of experience promoting a wide range of clients, including luxury hotels, retailers of high-end jewelry and watches, interior designers, financial institutions, exclusive golf clubs and nonprofit organizations.

LRM Interior Design has provided the Orange County and international community with full service residential design, assistance with the selection of architectural details, architect and builder collaborations, functional living spaces and designing custom furnishings for more than 10 years. McDennon’s background in art, architecture and design allows her to provide clients with hand drawn renderings in addition to architectural drawings.
