Pompeii exhibit excursion planned

Seniors are invited to join the Susi Q Senior Center for a day at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art on June 1 to see “Pompeii and the Roman Villa,” with about 120 works of sculpture, painting, mosaic and luxury arts. Recent discoveries from around the Bay of Naples that have never been exhibited in the United States will complement more familiar finds from earlier excavations.

The trip includes round trip transportation, a guided tour of this special exhibit, followed by a gourmet boxed lunch and free time to explore the museum’s permanent collection.

The group will leave at 10 a.m. and return to the Ccenter at 5 p.m.

The cost is $74 per person.

To join in, call Trudi Joyce (949) 497-9986.
