Homework club gets $10,000 donation

Huntington Beach moms and daughters raised $10,000 for a local homework club.
Pacific Coast, the Huntington Beach chapter of the National Charity League, made a donation May 12 to the Oak View Branch Library’s Homework Club Program.
Pacific Coast has been supporting the club since 2006 through volunteer work and financial assistance.
The homework club provides students with tutoring and homework help after school.
The program assists about 60 students a day and has about 275 enrolled in the program.
