Mansoor to meet with constituents at open house meetings

Assemblyman Allan Mansoor will hold two more open house meetings over coffee in his home district Thursday and Friday nights.

The former mayor of Costa Mesa, who was elected to the Assembly in November, was scheduled Tuesday night to hold the first of three open house meetings with constituents of the 68th Assembly District during the week while the Legislature is on recess. The first meeting was to take place at Mansoor’s district office in Costa Mesa.

The other meetings will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday in Stanton and from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Friday in Fountain Valley, according to a news release from the assemblyman’s office. Constituents can drop by, meet with Mansoor and ask him questions about pertinent issues.

Thursday’s community coffee session with Mansoor will be at the Smoketree Clubhouse, 12290 Briarwood St., Stanton, and Friday’s session will be at the Fountain Valley Recreation Center’s Sunridge Room, 16400 Brookhurst St., Fountain Valley.

The 68th district covers all of Costa Mesa and Fountain Valley, along with parts of Newport Beach, Anaheim, Garden Grove, Stanton and Westminster.
