Next early deadline for film festival is Oct. 28
Friday was the first of several early deadlines for filmmakers to qualify for discounted entry fees for the 2012 Newport Beach Film Festival.
The festival, which will run from April 26 to May 3, will screen more than 350 films in feature-length narrative, documentary, short, animated and student categories.
Films entered by Friday were $30 for shorts, $35 for features and $10 for youth.
A $5 discount is available to short and feature filmmakers who submit though https://www.withoutabox.com.
The next “Early Bird” deadline is Oct. 28. Entry prices are $35 for shorts, $40 for features and $10 for youth films.
