Volunteers needed to work with special needs teens

Share

The Friday Night Club and United Cerebral Palsy Orange County are looking for teen volunteers to mingle, play games and watch movies with special needs teens at its biweekly events.

The next one is from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday at UCP’s office, 980 Roosevelt, Suite 100, Irvine.

Newport Harbor High School student Natalie Cernius created the club to give her older brother, who is autistic, more opportunities to meet people and have fun, according to Daily Pilot archives.
