Firm hosts business workshop
Free business seminars and workshops return to Newport Beach this weekend with the kickoff of the annual Helping 100 Businesses for 100 Days program, according to an Eventbrite.com listing.
The event lead by local consulting firm, OPIS Network, features information for business owners on how to grow in the current economic climate.
A free workshop from 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, at the OASIS Senior Center will provide a 10-point business strategy highlighting topics such as competitive marketing, networking and technology.
From the seminar, 100 participants will be chosen to receive additional training from OPIS. Recipients will undergo three peer-to-peer classes and six online sessions.
