David Lamar Taylor

David Lamar Taylor died June 22, 2012, surrounded by family. David was born in Chowchilla, CA on Sept. 18, 1933 to David Taylor and Blanche Johns. After serving 3 years in the U.S. Army, David married Audrey Adrianos in June 1960 and graduated from the USC School of Pharmacy in 1961. David and Audrey have lived in Costa Mesa the past 50 years. The Taylors owned North Drug and served the Costa Mesa community there for 30 years. A highlight of Dave’s life was helping start an orphanage in Baja California and serving as Chairman of Foundation for His Ministry for 18 years. His life was spent in service to God through his church and volunteer work in a number of ministries. Genealogy was a life-long hobby of his and he spent many hours researching his family tree and assisting others in doing the same. David was a proud father who loved his family. He is survived by his spouse, Audrey; his children and their spouses, Andrea (Bill), Rhonda, Stephen & Jonathan (Christine); and his grandchildren, Holly, Ashleigh, Taylor, Kara, & Samantha and great-grandson, Caleb.
