District seeks feedback on technology

Share

Newport Mesa Unified School District is looking for students and parents to participate in an online survey on using technology in the classroom.

Speak Up 2012 is an online survey for students, parents, teachers and administrators to give their thoughts about the use of technology for learning. The data collected will be used to create needs assessments and budgets, among other things, district spokeswoman Laura Boss said at Tuesday’s board meeting.

“It really does make a difference,” she said. “It really does pay for us to go online and fill out the survey.”

The confidential survey opened last week and can be taken through Dec. 14.
