Police: Man stabbed at Costa Mesa motel
A man was stabbed in the neck during a weekend fight at the Costa Mesa Motor Inn, police said Wednesday.
Anthony Miliaresis, 24, got into an argument with another man and then allegedly stabbed him at the motel, 2277 Harbor Blvd., at about 11 p.m. Saturday, according to the Costa Mesa Police Department.
The victim, described as a 27-year-old Santa Ana resident, was taken to Western Medical Center in Santa Ana with a severe stab wound. He is in stable condition.
Miliaresis was arrested on suspicion of attempted homicide, police said.
Miliaresis pleaded not guilty Tuesday to a felony charge of carrying a dirk or dagger, Orange County Superior Court records show.
