Power outage will affect The Camp

Where's a campfire when you need it?

About 850 customers in the SoBeCa area of Costa Mesa will be affected by a scheduled outage Tuesday night and Wednesday morning that will affect The Camp's shops and restaurants among other businesses, according to shops and an official.

Businesses including Native Foods, Bikram's Yoga College of India, Umami Burger and Wine Lab at the Camp have hours that stretch past the planned outage, which is set to take place from 8 p.m. Tuesday night to 6 a.m. Wednesday, according to Southern California Edison spokeswoman Michelle Aguirre.

Those hoping to eat a Twister Wrap or drink a ruby port by candlelight may be out of luck. Several businesses may be closed during the outage, although The Camp is looking to use generators to keep the entire property lit during the power outage.

Edison didn't want to reveal the exact location of the scheduled outage.

The Lab is not in the affected area.
