Susan Lynn Coleman-Ross

Susan Lynn Coleman-Ross
August 19, 1960 – October 20, 2013

Sue Ross died October 20 after fighting breast cancer for nearly 4 and ½ years.
Sue was born in Whittier, CA on August 19, 1960 to James and Wilma (Billie) Coleman.
Sue graduated Whittier High School and paid her way through barber school by working at Marie Calendars and bartending at Costa Mesa Country Club.
Sue was a licensed barber and worked in Costa Mesa and Newport Beach for over 25 years. She operated her own barber shop for over 13 years before closing it to courageously fight her aggressive cancer.
Sue was a devout Catholic and a tireless volunteer for her kids’ schools and fundraisers. She would always donate haircuts to fundraisers and get up early to style her daughters hair and a lot of the other cheer leaders hair before competitions. Sue will be remembered for her beautiful smile and big heart. She water skied, loved the mountains, the beach, and fun family vacations.
Sue is preceded in death by her sister Sherry. She is survived by her mother Billie and her father Jim, her brother Allen, sister in law Linda, nieces Amanda and Stephanie, her husband Kea, and daughters Allison and Andrea.    In lieu of flowers, she would be pleased to be remembered with a donation to find a cure for cancer.
