Alex J Kochnuk December 13, 1924 - December 30, 2013

Alex Kochnuk, 89, Longtime resident of Bayshores, Newport Beach, CA and Colony Surf, Honolulu passed peacefully on December 30, 2013. He was born on December 13, 1924 in Chicago, Illinois. Alex was a Veteran of WWII and was discharged as a Sergeant. He later graduated from DePaul University with a degree in Accounting. He spent most of his working years as an accountant with Rosan Inc, Newport Beach, CA.

“Live Theater” was Alex’s love, from youth throughout his adult life. A live performance was not to be missed, be it local or on Broadway. He was a kind and gentle man of few words with a heart of gold and will be missed by many.

Alex is survived by his spouse, Billy Spratlin, brother Walter(Wally) Koch and wife Donell, niece Kaitryne and husband Brad. No services are planned and his ashes will be scattered at sea.
