Galley Cafe’s ATM stolen

Share

An ATM was stolen from the Galley Cafe on Harbor Island Drive early Friday, police said.

About 3:20 or 3:30 a.m., a window on the northeast corner of the restaurant was broken, and the ATM was removed from the property, said Newport Beach Police Lt. Evan Sailor.

The ATM was near a large window, which was close to the street curb, said restaurant owner Sherri White.

Police did not know how much money was in the machine or how many suspects were involved, Sailor said.

In a separate incident, someone searched through White’s car in front of her Costa Mesa home early Friday, but nothing was taken, she said.
