Repticon tips the scales at O.C. fairgrounds

Repticon snaked its claim to the OC Fair & Event Center on Saturday for opening day of the annual weekend-long spotlight on all things slimy and slithery.

The show — which features a hefty collection of reptile pet supplies and merchandise vendors as well as free raffles and live animal seminars — continues from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday in the Huntington Beach building at the fairgrounds, 88 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa.

Admission is $12 general, $5 for children ages 5-12 and free for kids 4 and younger. Parking costs $8.
