Ink flows and bands rock at Musink festival in Costa Mesa

Tattoo needles whirred and guitars roared Saturday, the second day of the 11th annual Musink Tattoo Convention and Music Festival at the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa.

Organized each year by rock drummer Travis Barker, Musink brings together hundreds of tattoo artists, a collection of custom and classic cars and lowriders from throughout Southern California and an assortment of bands headlined by Barker’s Blink-182.

The festival, which kicked off Friday, ends Sunday. Hours are noon to 9 p.m. at the Fair & Event Center, 88 Fair Drive.

Sunday’s scheduled performers are the Fever 333, Wifisfuneral, Machine Gun Kelly and Lil Yachty. The first act will go onstage at 5:25 p.m.

General admission tickets start at $39.50. VIP packages also are available.
