Auditions set for summer musical

Anyone with a flair for the dramatic should circle should May 7 and 9

from 4 to 8 p.m.

Both nights, auditions for the No Square production of the musical

“Honk” will be held at the Square One Rehearsal Studio at 221 Broadway.

Callbacks, as needed for the luckiest or most talents, will be from 2

to 6 p.m. May 11.

“Honk” is an adaptation of “The Ugly Duckling.” It includes a cast of

at least four men, four women and four children, who take on 30 different

roles.

Rehearsals may include 6 to 10 p.m., Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to

5 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 8 p.m. Sundays. There is no pay.

Performances will be July 12, 13, 14 at Laguna Beach High School’s

Artists’ Theatre. All seats are $18.
