The Newport-Mesa Unified School District offers menu choices each day

at elementary schools. Students may choose a vegetarian entree if

desired. The selection varies and may be either a salad, sandwich or

hot entree. School lunches are $2 each.

TODAY

Munchable lunch salad* with Dannon fruit yogurt or pepperoni Hot

Pocket; baby carrots with ranch dip; diced mixed fruit; and choice of

milk.

WEDNESDAY

Munchable lunch salad or crispy baked chicken broccoli with ranch

dip; Minute Maid cherry 100% fruit juice bar; graham crackers; and

choice of milk.

THURSDAY

Munchable lunch salad or hot dog on a bun and potato wedges; Sun

Maid raisins; and choice of milk.

FRIDAY

Munchable lunch salad or pasta with marinara sauce and meatballs;

fresh baked whole grain roll; crisp green salad with ranch dressing;

diced pears; and choice of milk.

MONDAY

Munchable lunch salad or Dog-Gone chicken sandwich; jicama sticks

with ranch dip; peach cup and choice of milk.

The Munchable Lunch salad contains tossed greens, cherry tomatoes,

crackers and protein sources such as cheese, sunflower seeds, fruit

yogurt and honey-roasted peanuts (*peanut butter on selected days).

Papa John’s Pizza is served one day a week with vegetable, fruit

and milk at each school in place of the regular menu.

Lincoln, Paularino, Whittier and Woodland.
