Tanzanite

Tanzanite is an 8-month-old female lynx point Siamese. She is

named for her stunning blue eyes. She is one of many rescue cats

younger than a year that already has a litter of kittens. Her

caregiver says she has great house manners and is a very loving cat.

Tanzanite will be available for adoption at Fashion Island this

weekend along with another young male Siamese being rescued from a

senior unable to handle the energy and playfulness of a young animal.

The average age of our rescued pregnant cats is only 7 months old.

When kittens and puppies are given away without being spayed and

neutered, they procreate at an early age and at an alarming rate. The

amount of money it takes to provide for a whole family of animals is

greater than the cost to just have initially spayed a single animal.

We would like the animal-loving public to know that there is a

tremendous financial strain that local animal organizations bear to

help so many with limited funds.
