Football camp starts Monday
Local youngsters interested in learning football skills can do so
at the Nike/West Football Camp, which begins Monday at Edison High.
The camp runs through Thursday.
The cost is $175 per camper and includes a Nike Dri-fit shirt. The
camp will be staffed by former NFL players at each position. Jr.
All-American Football and Pop Warner Football players are encouraged
to attend the camp.

Water polo camp still going on
A water polo camp for local youngsters continues to run at Golden
West College through Aug. 1.
The camp is open to all students entering grades two through eight
for the 2004-05 school year.
Instruction takes place 5 to 7 p.m. each Monday and from 5:45 to
7:30 p.m. each Tuesday and Thursday.

Rock climbing camp offered
The third of five rock climbing summer camps run by ClimbX in
Huntington Beach begins Wednesday.
The camp runs from 9 a.m. to noon each day, and the cost is $90
per session. Upcoming camp dates are Aug. 2, 6, 8 and Aug. 18, 20,
22.

AYSO soccer camp debuts
AYSO Region 143 will hold a soccer camp for local youth beginning
Monday at Coastline Community College in Huntington Beach.
The camp is open to youngsters playing in divisions Under-6
through Under-16 and will run through Friday, July 23.
The cost is $90 per camper.
