Bruins take sting out of Hornets in 7-1 win

Cole Redl scored the first and last goals for the Bruins and finished

with a match-best four goals in a 7-1 victory over the Hornets in

Norris Division play at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center in

Huntington Beach.

Redl also had an assist.

Rob Rosenast scored twice, Paul MacCabe scored once and Cameron

Platzman and Mike Walters each had an assist for the Bruins. Jeffrey

Ivora recorded 17 saves for the win.

Trevor Scott scored unassisted for the Hornets and Chas Scott had

23 saves.

Red Rhinos 4, TR 2 2

Christopher Boyd posted three goals to lead the Red Rhinos.

Matthew Bennett also scored, and Chelsea Bill had an assist.

Chad Davis scored both goals for TR 2 and Aaron Baca-Chavez had 16

saves in goal.

The Skulls 6, Raptors 4

Matthew Oyakawa scored three goals and had an assist for The

Skulls.

Will Shepherd scored twice and had a pair of assists, and Austin

Gearty scored a goal. Stephen Marchand had 18 saves for The Skulls.

For the Raptors, Derek Baljeu, Ryder Epson, Dane Chavez and Dacha

Dongrid each scored once. Kevin Romano had 15 saves.
