Renegades take it to the Extreme

With four players breaking into the scoring column, the Renegades
recorded a 4-1 Wales Division victory over the Extreme at Coast 2
Coast Inline Hockey Center in Huntington Beach.
Sean Easton, Danny Parker, Steve Tomasek and Anthony Thompson each
scored a goal for the Renegades, who led from start to finish.
Easton, Parker and Matt Korn each had an assist.
Goalie Jacob Renaud finished with 10 saves and gave up his only
goal in the final period.
In other Wales Division games:
Blind 4, Avalanche 1
Kevin Cant’s two goals paced the Blind. Troy Bundy added a goal
and an assist, and Carey Warner and Brad Wilson each had an assist.
Eric Grant had 10 saves in goal for the Blind.
Andrew Wade scored off a Jim Martin assist and Zachary Beko had 13
saves for the Avalanche.
Diablos 4, Badgers 1
Casey Childers’ two goals and assist led a Diablos scoring attack
that saw Joel Dapello also score a goal. Dapello and Ben Piontkowski
each had an assist.
Timothy Francis had nine saves in the victory.
Robert Oliver scored off a CJ Dinolfi feed, and Zackery Porter
also had nine saves for the Badgers.
Predators 9, Thunder 6
Stephen Tockey’s three goals topped the Predators in scoring.
Andrew Skowron and Dean Neugebauer each scored twice, and William
Richards scored once.
Skowron also led the team in assists with three, while Tockey had
two assists. Justin Bracamontes had one assist and Cameron Nagai
recorded nine saves for the Predators.
The Thunder’s scoring consisted of three goals by Evan Zinger and
one each by Nicole Scott, Daniel Calderon and Conor Dunlea.
Matthew Janssen assisted on two goals and Dunlea, Cory Cunningham
and Jacob Gonzales each had one assist. Brad Brandenburg finished
with nine saves.
Blue Crew 7, Phantoms 5
The Blue Crew outscored the Phantoms 2-0 in the final period to
pull out the win.
Bryan Marony scored three goals to lead the Blue Crew, followed by
Ryan Gallegos’ two goals. Borrmann and Collin Monge each scored once.
Borrmann, Marony, Gallegos and Shane Connolly each had an assist,
and Bryan Paranal finished with six saves for the Blue Crew.
Hunter Schmidt’s two goals and assist led the Phantoms. Kyle Evans
and Justin Pederson each had a goal and an assist, and Kyle Morrill
scored once. Brandon Kinney had 11 saves.
