Theresa Seidel at Stephen Frank

The public is invited to Stephen Frank Garden & Home, 447 Forest Ave., from 5 to 9 p.m. Dec. 4 to meet glass and crystal artist Theresa Seidel and enjoy wine and cheese selections from Stephen Frank Table & Pantry (Laguna Gourmet).

“We are excited to honor Theresa and celebrate her new works during the holiday season,” said Stephen Jacobs, co-owner of Stephen Frank. “Her one-of-a-kind pieces make excellent gifts as well as the perfect addition to our clients’ homes,” added co-owner Frank Schaffer.

Seidel works with vintage glass and Swarovski crystals. She is known for her unique designs and craftsmanship. Each bottle is adorned with a beaded loop and signature metal heart milagro. Each piece ranges in price from $40 to $1,500.

HIP District invites shoppers

The HIP District, located on South Coast Highway between Anita Streets and Bluebird Canyon Drive, is rolling out the red carpet for the holidays.

Laguna Nursery is hosting a Winter Wonderland Cabaret from 6 to 10 p.m. Dec. 17 with music by Saif Eddin and special guest Harry Clurman, catered appetizers and an open wine bar. Holiday items at the nursery include paintings, sculptures, fountains, gift baskets, centerpieces and more from both local Laguna Beach and international artists. Purchase tickets ahead of time for $40 by calling (949) 494-5200 or buy them at the door for $50.

The nursery’s popular Garden Walks continue in December, with walks at 10 a.m. Dec. 4, 11 and 18. A $10 donation is encouraged to support future Garden Walks.

Laguna Beach Books is hosting a Holiday Party for Book Clubs at 5 p.m. Dec. 5. Mingle with other book lovers and discuss your club’s favorite titles, plus get a sneak peek at next season’s new books, as two of the store’s best book reps, Wade Lucas from Random House and Joe Murphy from W.W.
