Newport Beach City Councilman Rush Hill was recently appointed to the board of directors for the San Joaquin Hills Transportation Corridor Agency, the joint-powers authority that oversees the 73 Toll Road. Hill and 13 other elected officials make up the San Joaquin Hills Board of Directors.

As an architect and real estate consultant, Hill has worked on public-private partnerships. His clients, according to a news release, have included state agencies, school districts, universities, nonprofits and corporate organizations.

“His extensive experience with state agencies and public/private partnerships make him a valuable asset in helping our mission to enhance regional mobility,” said Bert Hack, chairman of the San Joaquin Hills Transportation Corridor Agency.
