A story in the Jan. 23 Independent, “Ban on foam products rejected,” incorrectly stated that the proposed ban includes food containers, cup lids and utensils made from polystyrene. In fact, the proposed only applies to items made from expanded polystyrene, such as white food containers, plates and cups.
