College softball: OCC loses to Golden West, 4-3

COSTA MESA - Orange Coast College’s softball team tied Golden West

in the fifth inning with three runs, but the Rustlers scored in the top

of the sixth to pull out a 4-3 Orange Empire Conference win over the host

Pirates (3-6 in conference) Wednesday. Kimberly Guillen had OCC’s big

blow in the fifth inning with a two-run double. She went 3 for 3 at the

plate.
