Aaron Amaral threw a two-hit, 10-strikeout shutout and the Cardinals

used that performance as a springboard to a 9-0 victory over the Dodgers

in Seaview Little League Majors Division action.

The Cardinals erupted for five, first-inning runs and never looked

back as Brian Silvey led the quick start with a bases clearing double.

Of the seven hits posted by the Cardinals, Amaral finished with two to

aid his pitching cause and Austin Ravozini, Carl Eberts, Jamie Martin and

Bret Harris each contributed hits.

For the Dodgers, Brandon Visnoski and Billy Judd each had singles and

Mark Miller, Matt Fockler and Kurt Heyer combined to strike out 10.
