Final summer soccer camp opens Monday

Laguna Beach High School Summer Camps, open to youth ages 6 to 16, will stage its final session, Camp III, beginning Monday.

The camp runs through July 27.

Camp III is open to both boys and girls and includes special tournament-style training.

Professional level training will be offered with an emphasis placed on individual ball skills, speed work, small game tactics, goalkeeping and match level decision making. All players will be grouped appropriately.

Laguna Beach High boys’ and girls’ varsity coaches Patrick Coyne and Bill Rolfing will lead the camp with instruction in a positive learning environment.

Summer tennis lessons start Monday

Summer tennis lessons for all ages will be offered in Laguna Beach beginning Monday.

Two-week sessions for Pee Wee through Teen, Beginning and Intermediate classes, as well as Competitor Training for players 10-16, will run Monday through Thursday of each week.
