Area 1

Cliff Drive: A broken leg was reported in the 1000 block of Shaw’s Cove at 1:44 p.m. Saturday.

Cliff Drive: A Tiffany lamp that was wrapped up to be moved was reported stolen, along with other items, in the 200 block at 8:17 p.m. Sunday.

North Coast Highway: Cooking oil worth $700 was reported stolen from a delivery person in the 100 block at 12:44 p.m. Monday.

San Nicholas Court: A burglary was reported in the 400 block at 8:36 a.m. Tuesday.

Area 3

Beach Street: A man was arrested after two bags of marijuana were allegedly found in his vehicle after a traffic stop at Ocean Avenue at 1:35 p.m. Friday.

Mountain View Drive: A woman who reported that her son broke a glow stick and the liquid was in his eye was told to flush it with water in the 2900 block 7:21 a.m. Saturday.

South Coast Highway: Someone reported that a political protest was “out of control” in the 100 block at 1:39 p.m. Saturday.

South Coast Highway: A purse was reported stolen an hour earlier at a restaurant in the 300 block at 12:28 a.m. Monday.

Temple Hills Drive: A Newport Beach man was arrested on suspicion of drug possession after a traffic stop in the 2700 block at 12:03 p.m. Thursday.

Area 4

Capistrano Avenue: A fire in a lawn mower was put out in a soccer field at Balboa Avenue at 11:32 a.m. Wednesday.

Oak Street: A child in a police costume was reported missing and returned to her parents in the 500 block at 6:48 p.m. Friday.

Ruby Street: An El Monte man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at South Coast Highway at 3:43 p.m. Monday.

South Coast Highway: An Orange man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after being pulled over for speeding in the 1000 block at 1:29 a.m. Wednesday.

South Coast Highway: Pumpkins were reported broken in the 1000 block at 8:11 a.m. Saturday.

South Coast Highway: A battery was reported at a business in the 1000 block at 12:29 p.m. Saturday.

Catalina Street: A car was reported keyed with an anarchy symbol in the 1000 block at 8:27 a.m. Sunday.

Coast Highway: A San Clemente man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at West Street at 12:29 a.m. Saturday.

Coast Highway: Two people were rescued from the ocean at Treasure Island in the 30000 block at 8:56 a.m. Saturday.

Coast Highway: Water balloons were reported being thrown in the 31000 block at 3:41 p.m. Saturday.

N. La Senda: A side door was reported kicked in, but nothing stolen, at a vacant residence in the 0 block at 4:17 p.m. Friday.
