Mozambique Neighborhood Cleanup Lunch and Concert

Share

Despite cool winds and a slight drizzle, more than 30 HelpBlueWater.com volunteers appeared to insure the success of the first Mozambique Neighborhood Cleanup Lunch and Concert. Cleanup volunteers converged on Mozambique and picked up trash from Calliope to Moss Point, from hills to ocean and the entire area was cleared of all trash including cigarette butts!

As a reward after the cleanup, volunteers enjoyed an incredible concert featuring British, singer-songwriter Jason Feddy. Mozambique offered volunteers a special priced lunch and drinks to show appreciation of their efforts and the great company of like-minded neighbors.

As a result of the success the prospects for a real Laguna Beach permanent cleanup effort improved greatly. The cleanup effort will skip a week due to a previously scheduled event, but will resume March 7th ,the date scheduled for the next cleanup/concert.
