Charlotte Sue Mills

Charlotte Sue Mills, age 67, passed away July 22, 2010, at her home surrounded by family and friends after a courageous battle with cancer. Born February 23, 1943, in Kokomo, Indiana, daughter of John and Fran Mills, she was the oldest of 3 siblings.

She is survived by her parents, siblings Colleen Fountain and Tom Mills, her husband, Ken Nelson, and children Heathyr and Angel Lawrence along with three grandchildren Sharkie, Lucky and Mason.

Charlotte was known for her big blue eyes, quick wit, great smile and a no-nonsense attitude. She was also a loving ‘mother’ to many who crossed her path and was a hero in her children’s eyes.

The service is at 1 p.m. Aug. 16, 2010, on the beach at M Street and Ocean Boulevard with a reception to follow at 2200 Channel Road, Balboa Peninsula Point, Newport Beach.
