Eugene ‘Gene’ Black

Eugene “Gene” Black, a loyal and loving man, passed away Aug. 8, 2010, in Bozeman, Mont., at age 87. He is survived by his wife, Bea Black; daughters Bonnie (Phil) Maurer and Vickie (Larry) Minkoff; and grandchildren Bill (Marcia) Leach, Alisha (John) Boston, Ryan and Evan Minkoff.

Gene had been a resident of Corona del Mar since 1958. During that time he was a pilot for Western/Delta Airlines, based in Los Angeles and Honolulu. Capt. Black retired after 42 years and bought a second home in Montana. He was a true gentleman who was loved and will be missed by many.
