Man dies after motorcycle crash

A 23-year-old Aliso Viejo man died Saturday after a motorcycle crash at City Lights Drive on Friday night.

Ryan Macomber suffered head and limb trauma after his Suzuki motorcycle collided with a white SUV, according to Lt. Roland Chacone at the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.

The coroner’s report said Macomber was ejected from the motorcycle.

Police were called to the scene at about 10 p.m. Witnesses reported that Macomber was lifting the front end of the motorcycle prior to the crash.

The Sheriff’s Department could not confirm the cause of the crash. The coroner’s report said the incident is still under investigation.

Macomber was transported to Mission Hospital Mission Viejo on Friday night and died early the following morning.
