AREA 1

Monterey Drive and Poplar Street: A caller reported at 1:03 p.m. Sunday that his son was hit by a white Lexus while riding a bike the previous day. The female driver fled the scene. The caller reported that his son suffered a wrist injury.

North Coast Highway: A caller reported a male stumbling between a retaining wall and bus bench in the 200 block at 9:51 a.m. Friday. The man wore a white T-shirt and carried a backpack. He left the scene when officers arrived.

North Coast Highway: Vandalism was reported in the 100 block at the Mobil gas station at 2:08 p.m. Sunday. The station manager reported a female with black hair in her late 30s drove off with the gas pump nozzle still plugged into the side of her black BMW 3-series. The woman returned and set the damaged nozzle on the ground. The manager said she is a regular customer and estimated the damage at $125.

North Coast Highway and Ledroit Street: A stray dog was reported at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday. The caller described the dog as 60 pounds with light tan fur and a dark brown underbelly. The dog did not have a collar.

AREA 3

Temple Hills Drive: A caller in the 2000 block reported at 9:24 a.m. Friday that camera wires were cut the previous night. Damage is estimated at $300.

Skyline Drive: Trespassing was reported in the 1000 block at 12:20 p.m. Friday. The caller said she saw someone in the bushes behind her house at 4:30 a.m. that day.

North Coast Highway: A reported Laguna Beach transient was arrested for disorderly conduct after disturbing customers at Gina’s Pizza in the 600 block at 4:05 p.m. Sunday. A caller said the man yelled at customers and employees, demanding his pizza. The suspect, a white male, wore a black sweater with jeans, white shoes and had a goatee. He was described as skinny and in his early 30s.

Park Avenue and Glenneyre Street: The caller reported a white male standing in the middle of the street and yelling at 11:37 p.m. Monday.

AREA 4

Anita Street and South Coast Highway: Four teenage boys reported that they found a white substance in a plastic bag on a men’s bathroom counter at 4:12 p.m. Sunday. They said they thought the substance was methamphetamine.

Calliope Street: A caller from a construction company reported a truck in a gulley in the 300 block at 9:49 a.m. Monday. No injuries were reported.

South Coast Highway: The caller reported a petty theft in the 1100 block at 11:55 a.m. Monday. She said her purse was stolen Saturday night and that her credit cards had been used.

Catalina: Grand theft was reported in the 1100 block at 12:58 p.m. Monday. A caller reported her $600 bike, which was unlocked, was stolen from the residence on Sunday.

AREA 5

Wards Terrace: Officers responded to the 2800 block at 10:56 a.m. Saturday for a truck that fell down a 15-foot cliff and landed on its roof. The caller parked his Toyota Tacoma in front of his residence and went inside to get property to place in the truck. The caller believed he didn’t set the emergency brake. The truck rolled toward the end of the street and crashed through a fence at the end of a private driveway. The Laguna Beach Fire Department was called to the scene and determined gas leaked from the vehicle, but it was not a serious threat. A tow truck pulled the vehicle up the hill.

Dumond Drive: A caller from the Pacific Marine Mammal Center reported a sick sea lion on Victoria Beach at 11:19 a.m. Saturday. The animal was taken into custody.
