The Hilton Honors American Express Business Card rewards
Like other rewards credit cards, the Amex Hilton Honors Business card comes with a generous welcome bonus and gives you several ways to earn and redeem points.
Here’s how you can make the card work to your advantage:
Welcome bonus

The number of bonus points needed to book a room varies by location, property type and the date of your stay. However, the welcome bonus is enough to cover at least one night at many Hilton hotels.

The rental vehicle damage and theft plan covers up to $50,000 per rental agreement, giving you extra peace of mind when you’re on the road. Cardholders have access to the Global Assist Hotline, which connects you with agents trained to connect you with a variety of resources. You can use this benefit any time you’re traveling more than 100 miles from home.
Amex offers
American Express partners with companies around the world to bring you discounts and other special offers. For example, you may get 10% back on a purchase or receive a flat rebate of $25 when you meet the minimum spending requirements.

How The Hilton Honors American Express Business Card compares
The Amex Hilton Honors Business card performs well against other travel credit cards, but you may want to consider another card if you want to earn cash back or other rewards based on non-travel spending.
To make it easier for you to choose the best credit card, we compared the Hilton Honors business credit card against three similar products. Here’s how it stacked up.
The Hilton Honors American Express Business Card vs. Marriott Bonvoy Business® American Express® Card
If you have the Hilton Honors American Express Business card, you earn 12 points per dollar spent on qualifying stays. In contrast, the Marriott Bonvoy Business® American Express® Card gives you 21 points per dollar spent (see rates and fees).
Both hotel credit cards have generous welcome offers. If you’re loyal to Hilton, it’s still worth getting the Amex Hilton Honors Business card, but if you want to earn free nights faster, you may want to get the Marriott Bonvoy card instead.
The Hilton Honors American Express Business Card vs. The Blue Business® Plus Credit Card from American Express
The Blue Business® Plus Credit Card from American Express has no annual fee (see rates and fees), but you only earn 2 points per dollar spent on everyday eligible business purchases on up to $50,000 per year and 1 point per dollar spent on other eligible purchases.
Additionally, the welcome offer is only worth 15,000 bonus points after you spend $3,000 on eligible purchases within the first three months — significantly less than what you earn with the Hilton Honors American Express Business card. The Hilton card is the clear winner here.
The Hilton Honors American Express Business Card vs. Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card
The Hilton business card has a better offer than the Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card, as you have to spend $8,000 within six months of opening your account. To earn the 100K bonus point welcome bonus for the Ink Business Preferred card, you need to spend $8,000 within the first three months of membership.
Additionally, you only earn 3 points per dollar spent on on the first $150,000 spent on travel and select business categories each year. You can earn rewards much faster with the Hilton Honors American Express Business Card.
Is The Hilton Honors American Express Business Card right for me?
The Amex Hilton Honors Business card may be right for you if you’re a loyal Hilton customer who travels often enough to rack up free nights. It’s also a good fit for small business owners as it offers bonus points in multiple spending categories.
If you don’t travel often but are looking for an Amex business credit card, these other cards may be a better option:
