Tickets for the “Los Angeles Times And Food & Wine’s THE TASTE” On Sale Today

<i>L.A.’s Most Celebrated Restaurants will be Showcased at This Four-Day Culinary Festival from September 2-5, 2011</i>

LOS ANGELES — Tickets go on sale today June 1, 2011, for the Los Angeles Times and Food & Wine's THE TASTE, the unprecedented, citywide event taking place over Labor Day weekend. This wine and food festival includes nine signature events to be held throughout Beverly Hills, Hollywood and Downtown L.A. Many of the culinary world's biggest stars will host the gastronomic affairs including renowned chefs Roy Choi, Duff Goldman and Ray Garcia, along with previously announced chefs including Giada De Laurentiis, Scott Conant, Art Smith, Ludo Lefebvre, Michael Voltaggio, Claire Robinson, Debi Mazar and Gabriele Corcos.

THE TASTE will feature more than 200 of L.A.'s most renowned eateries. Guests will enjoy everything from cooking demonstrations, panel discussions and wine and spirit seminars, to tastings from local restaurants, top vintners and mixologists, as well as live entertainment from top music acts.

"One of the key distinguishing factors between THE TASTE and other major wine and food festivals is that the restaurants are the true 'stars' of the festival," says Johnathan Crocker, Co-Founder of THE TASTE. "We have an incredible and diverse culinary scene represented in Los Angeles and can't wait to celebrate it."

Those unveiling their latest culinary creations include: Bazaar by José Andr&eacutes, Bouchon, Comme Ça, Craft, Culina, Eva Restaurant, Fig, Terroni, Fords Filling Station, Guelaguetza, Hatfield's, Huckleberry Cafe & Bakery, Innovative Dining Group (IDG), Intelligentsia Coffee & Tea, Jitlada, LA Market Restaurant, M Café, Mercato Di Vetro, Osteria La Buca, Fig & Olive, Public Kitchen + Bar, Sotto, Sweet Rose Creamery, The Foundry on Melrose, The Misfit, The Raymond, Thompson Beverly Hills and Wurstküche, with more to be announced in the coming weeks.

Tickets go on sale today, June 1, 2011, in a variety of configurations and are available via Eventbrite, the official ticketing provider of THE TASTE. Options include à la carte, themed city packages and signature event packages. Prices will range from $125 to $150 for à la carte tickets and $275 to $800 for experiential packages such as Daytime Delights, Night Crawl and The Ultimate Indulgence. City packages will include the Beverly Hills Package $475; the Hollywood Package $325.

A portion of the ticket sales will benefit Share Our Strength, Beverly Hills Education Foundation, Collins College of Hospitality Management at Cal Poly Pomona, Los Angeles Times Family Fund's Summer Camp Campaign and Los Angeles Conservancy.
