Giddy Up After Dark

The Wrangler National Finals Rodeo not only rounds up rodeo’s greatest riders, ropers and wrestlers, but also steers a stampede of country music stars into Sin City. The world’s richest and most prestigious rodeo, NFR fills the Thomas & Mack Center with 10 days of competitive cowboy and cowgirl sports, Dec. 5 through 14, while concerts and parties happen citywide.

Country colossi gracing Las Vegas during Wrangler NFR include Shania Twain (at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace Dec. 7, 8, 10, 11, 13 and 14); Wynonna & The Big Noise (Orleans Arena, Dec. 6 and 7); Willie Nelson (Golden Nugget Grand Event Center, Dec. 10 and 11); and Montgomery Gentry and the Charlie Daniels Band (Orleans Arena, Dec. 14).

Supplementing these arena-sized shows, Wrangler NFR After Dark is a more intimate series of nightly free-admission events throughout the NFR. The Mirage presents Rodeo Vegas 2013, which is the Official Wrangler NFR After-Party of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Assn. and includes country hotshots Dustin Lynch (Dec. 5), Craig Morgan (Dec. 8), Jerrod Niemann (Dec. 13) and Easton Corbin (Dec. 14) performing at the Mirage Race & Sports Book. Yee-haw, indeed!
