Craftsteak
It’s only right that Tom Coliccio, he of “Top Chef” fame and a five-time James Beard award winner, should elevate the very definition of a steakhouse. His eponymous Craftsteak delivers mouth-watering, tender cuts of prime beef, aged to perfection, grain or grass-fed, and seared to lock in the juices. Everything — from the beef to the seafood, chicken and pork — comes from small family farms and artisanal producers. And, oh wait, the bar. A variety of blended whiskies and nearly 200 single malt scotches range from $9 to $1,800 a pour. Try one neat or on the “rock” — a specially crafted ice cube designed to minimize dilution.
