Rumsfeld to Widen Boeing Investigation

Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld will expand the Pentagon’s probe of a former Air Force official who helped negotiate a $27.6-billion contract with Boeing Co. and then went to work for the company, a Defense Department official said.
Rumsfeld will direct the Pentagon’s inspector general to examine any contacts Darleen Druyun might have had with other prospective employers to ensure that no Air Force programs were compromised, the official said.
