‘Chelsea Lately’ producer Johnny Milord lands a charming spot in Del Rey

Longtime “Chelsea Lately” producer Johnny Milord has picked up a charming bungalow in Del Rey, paying $1.325 million for the three-bedroom spot.

Milord must’ve liked what he saw; the sale price was about $150,000 more than what the home listed for in October.

A white picket fence lines the lot, which holds landscaped yards in the front and back. The home opens to a living room with large picture windows and a fireplace. Hardwood floors line the majority of the 1,258 square feet of living space.

A square island sits at the center of the kitchen, which also holds a breakfast bar and wine rack.

The master suite has vaulted ceilings, and sets of French doors lead to a side patio and the backyard.

A detached two-car garage completes the property.

Stacy Blair Young of Douglas Elliman was the listing agent. Heather Shawver of Pacific Union International represented Milord.

Records show the home previously traded hands in 2007 for $799,000.

In addition to “Chelsea Lately,” Milord co-executive produced “After Lately,” a mockumentary-style look at the original show. More recently, he directed two seasons of “Nightcap,” a comedy series starring Ali Wentworth.
