Paris Motor Show Preview: Concept Cars

One day, there might be an Audi A1 coming to the U.S. It would rival the Mini and whatever premium compacts are around then. And it might have this concept car’s powertrain, which is a highly efficient 1.4-liter gasoline engine augmented with an electric motor and all the hybrid trimmings -- such as regenerative braking and lithium-ion batteries. And we’ll all be happy about it. Because it looks really sharp, doesn’t it?
