Audi R8 5.2 FSI Quattro
The latest edition of the Audi R8 -- a souped-up version of the sports car Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark used to tear around L.A. in “Iron Man” -- comes with a 5.2-liter 10-cylinder engine (up from its original 4.2-liter eight-cylinder).

The standard V-10 engine, which the German car manufacturer is touting to be almost identical in construction to its Le Mans racing version, maxes out at 525 horsepower and includes Quattro all-wheel drive and a six-speed transmission. Manual transmission is standard; sequential R-Tronic is optional.

Germany will get its hands on the new Quattro in the second quarter of 2009. Although it has not been confirmed when the car will hit U.S. shores, Audi projects that it will arrive in fall 2009 with a price tag of $150,000 or higher.
