'The Square' star Claes Bang on landing the role in director Ruben Ostlund's film: 'You can't wait for something like this.'

“If someone 20 years [ago] had asked me, 'What is your dream?' I would probably, if I could have said it, I would have said this,” Danish actor Claes Bang said of his lead role in Ruben Östlund's new film “The Square.”

Bang plays a museum director unveiling a controversial new installation on what turns out to be a dark and hilarious day. Mark Olsen wrote that the 2017 Cannes Film Festival Palme d'Or winner is a “subversive satire about power and privilege in the art world,” before sitting down with Bang for an interview.
