Oscar-winning actress Reese Witherspoon became agitated after her husband, CAA agent Jim Toth, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence in Atlanta on April 19, officials said. Witherspoon was reportedly so frustrated with the situation that she was subsequently arrested for disorderly conduct. They were then briefly jailed before being released on bond in the wee hours of April 20, said Variety, which broke the news.<br><br>
By late April 21, Witherspoon had issued a statement: "I clearly had one drink too many and I am deeply embarrassed about the things I said."<br><br>
