It all started with Maddox, Jolie's adopted son from Cambodia who gave rise to their other boys -- Pax and Knox -- ending their names with Xs. Maddox comes from the Celtic name meaning "son of Madoc" and it has a Welsh root that mean "fortunate" too. Jolie also adopted Zahara Marley from Ethiopia. She gave birth to daughter Shiloh Nouvel in Namibia, later adopted Knox from Vietnam and even later gave birth to twins -- Knox Léon and daughter, Vivienne Marcheline -- in France.
